L’École Est Finie is a remake of Sheila’s 1962 high-energy Scopitone film for her hit single. Scopitone films were pioneered in France to play in 16mm jukeboxes. Often cited as precursors to music videos, they have the charm and impulsiveness of a pre-codified genre.
